It's easy to think that financial advisers only crunch numbers to come up with a complex financial plan suited for their clients. In reality, a large part of being a financial adviser is the behavioural advising side. It's all well and good to be able to write up a technical plan for a client, but if we aren't able to remove bad habits and develop good ones, there will be no point providing the client with the plan.
